Aston Villa F.C. is a football club in Birmingham, England who play in the premier division, the Premier League. 1888 was the club one of the actors for the formation of the Football League. Aston Villa Football Club was founded in Birmingham 1874th an their home ground is called Villa Park, where they have played since 1897.
2005, the club's owner, Herbert Douglas Ellis, announced that the Aston Villa was for sale. In August 2006 it was announced that Randy Lerner, owner of the Cleveland Browns, bought the club for 62.6 million pounds.
