EURO 2012

UEFA European Football Championship is the biggest football tournament for football teams governed by UEFA (Union of European Football Associations). The tournament is held every four years since 1960, in the even years between World Cups. The tournament was originally named "Championship Cup of Nations", but was amended in 1968 to the current name.

Before the tournament, all teams except the host nations (which qualify automatically) goes through several qualifying matches.

Emirates Cup

The Emirates Cup is an annual two-day pre-season football tournament hosted by English Premier League club Arsenal and held at the Emirates Stadium, the club's home ground. It is similar in style to the Amsterdam Tournament hosted by Ajax.

Much like the Amsterdam Tournament, each team plays two matches, with three points awarded for a win, one point for a draw, and a point for every goal scored. From the 2009 edition, if teams are tied on points, goal difference and goals scored, they are ranked by the total shots on target during the tournament.

UEFA Super Cup

The UEFA Super Cup (also called the European Super Cup) is an annual football game between the reigning champions of the two cup competitions organized by UEFA; the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.
From 1972 to 1999, the UEFA Super Cup was contested between the winners of the European Cup/UEFA Champions League and the winners of the European Cup Winners' Cup/UEFA Cup Winners' Cup. After the discontinuation of the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup, it has been contested by the winners of the UEFA Champions League and the winners of the UEFA Cup, which was renamed as the UEFA Europa League in 2009.

FA Community Shield

The Football Association Community Shield (formerly the Charity Shield) is English football's annual match contested between the champions of the previous Premier League season and the holders of the FA Cup at Wembley Stadium. Often seen as a 'gloried friendly' which ranks below the FA Cup and League Cup, the fixture is a recognised football Super Cup. Organised by the Football Association, proceeds from the game are distributed to community-based initiatives and charities around the country. The fixture was first played in the 1908–09 season, replacing the Sheriff of London Charity Shield.
