West Ham United FC, is an English football club based in East London. The club is known to produce promising young players. In recent years it has trained and re-selling players like Frank Lampard, Rio Ferdinand, Joe Cole, Michael Carrick and Jermaine Defoe. Even during the 1960s, it produced many great players such as: Geoff Hurst, Bobby Moore and Martin Peters.
After some rough years in the second division of the Championship, the team came back to the Premier League in the spring of 2005.
