Everton FC is a football club from Liverpool in England. The club was formed in 1878, and a decade later, it helped with the formation of the English league. The club is one of the five most successful in England and has become the English football league champions nine times and won the FA Cup five times and the Cup Winners Cup once again.
Everton's biggest rival is a local rival Liverpool, which was formed after a dispute concerning the rent of Anfield, Everton's former home ground. This occurred in 1892, and since then Everton played their home games at Goodison Park.
