MANCHESTER CITY

Manchester City FC is a football club from Manchester formed in 1880 as West Gorton St Marks. In 1887 the club changed its name to Ardwick AFC in 1894 and got its present name. Since the year 2003 Manchester City plays their home games in the Etihad Stadium. 1897 to 1923 they played at Hyde Road and from 1923 to 2003 Maine Road was the club's home ground.
